You here it said that we fight the beast, the beast being the intoxicant. I didn’t realize the beast of craving is the true adversary , my craving is a desire which causes a pain no matter which way I go. If I move away from a desire, I move towards a desire, both are a struggle. My craving the Alcohol was a painful struggle, my desire to move away from the substance was a struggle. The choice became which one better suited life, I am confident the decision I made to find a greater power than the bottle was the farless painful choice. I deal with more moments of real joy being sober than the manufactured joy of intoxication. Thank God for leading me to the road of a happy destiny and removing the obsession and allowing me to find the joy in every moment.

THE ROSE IN YOU
If you clip and steal a rose from a neighbors garden and take it home, you beautify your table. If you leave the rose on the bush and let it grow, it becomes fragrant and fills your neighborhood with beauty that all can see. Let the rose in you and others beautify the world, not by placing your beauty in a vase in the room that only you can see. Let love shine outward it’s a beautiful thing.
