All the friends I have made over the years have been the strength behind the challenge. None of us have an easy time our entire life. there are things that effect all of us. With out those who have held out their hands to me in and out of these rooms are priceless. I am not one to dismiss value, I have seen value even in those who choose to be distant, in some manor. When we choose to befriend someone, we have to remember there is always a responsibility on our part not to judge on their actions, but only focus on what our reactions and actions are. Life is short and precious, true friendship starts with what kind of friend I can be, not what kind of friend you choose to be. I know the value of true friendship, I would not be alive had it not be for my friends. Thank all of you for helping me find my way. May God bring us the serenity the world so needs, and thank God for AA.

Everyday I must be mindful of what I must do to find center. My routine has varied over the years, not because of what needs to be done but because of traffic in my head. Slowing the traffic to a manageable crusing speed, I must remember that I am behind the wheel but God must be in charge of the destination. It doesn’t matter how fast I want to go the established speedlimt is out of my hands. This is were I must begin with asking for directions and meditate on the journey in front of me, for the next moment. As long as I ask the power to walk with me and invite him to carry my footsteps, I will not stumble. This is what I did this morning and my path is clear, until I try to make things happen on my time, forgetting God has his watch set on a different time zone than mine.
