The Inspiration
Am I blinded by you or am I mislead by thoughts I have, or things you said.
All I see is you looking back at me nothing else comes only you I see.
I hate the place I am with you. Not really knowing what to do.
If I go forward, but I can’t go back.
Taking me off on beaten track, knowing what I must change Even though It may feel strange But knowing this doesn’t make it so.
It doesn’t matter What I know.
It matters only what emotion feels.
They’re the only things that seem real.
I don’t expect the same my friend until the day that moment ends.
It’s always hard to let things fly away from us as tears we cry.
Time has it’s mending way Changing thoughts from day to day.
So keep me in your heart as you go, take me with you and always know.
The love I have is always here With no conditions and not to fear
From the moment I saw you and then went away
I knew you we’re in my heart and there you’ll stay.

I have so much gratitude for those who shared their expierence, strength, and hope with me, and by doing so taught me to grow in the faith, that I could recover too. When we are with a new person to the rooms, we must try to not drive them away with our zeal to help, or indefference to their situation. The balance in our conversation must be based in our text, but also based in our desire to help, and show love and tolerance. We Alcoholics are a sensitive bunch no matter how hard we tried to desensitize ourself. One of the traditions states that we must be an attraction. The Book clearly gives us the instructions on how to approach the new comer. Working with others and to the wives chapters, gives us great detail on how to conduct ourselves when carrying the message. I am so grateful for those who taught me what to do and not to do through action,and love. Thank you for the 12 step call.
