When someone is unable to hear what you’re trying to say to them, what do you do. Sometimes we have persons in our lives that can’t seem to understand when you try to convey a message of love and hope. This can cause frustration, and feelings of disappointment, making you feel like you want to stop the effort. This is when our vigilence and patience must be practiced. This is common through out our lives, but if you truly care, the focus must be on love and tolerance. Being of service has to be constant in our lives in order to find the connection between us. Life in perspective is truly short, so we must spend our time in pursuit of caring. So what do you say to those who can’t hear you….. I CARE!

We all belong to the universe. In trying to insulate from outside events, we tend to isolate from the truth that humanity is all connected to stardust. The elements that are a part of me are a part of you, thus being that when things effect your world they affect mine. In our ignorance and intolerance we disconnect. It’s a harsh reality when we discover how intolerant we are to each other. Our divides are our weakness, they are not our strengths. The Principle of the 12th step “Service,” our code of “love and tolerance,” and the guide of “Faith” is the foundation of our recovery. I cannot recover with out connection, the bond of community is the life blood of our program. My intolerance of things kept me from allowing the healing truth of love. As time goes by I see that love is the brightness of life, love is the heart of eternity, love is the beauty. I must Remember that “we are all connected” to a Greater Power of infinate light.
