The Hardest Thing For The Human Mind To Do

The hardest thing for the human mind to do, is to grasp the beauty in front of it. I am not referring to the grandeur of nature, or a work of art, or music, or the birth of a son or daughter, but the subtle beauties that happen every day, hour, minute, or second. There is beauty everywhere that we tend to miss, because of mind traffic. Those useless pieces of trivial thought that occupy and obscure our view of absolute wonder. Sometimes I am so enthralled in self that I miss the real beauty, like the things that make life worth living. I forget that there is new life and life ending constantly. I forget that a life built on spirit is a life filled with wonder. I must be constantly aware that most of the things I think are valuable to my existence, are really not that important in the scope of things. My time here is a gift that was given by the Power that creates all life, whatever it may be. I have found that I need to stop trying to figure what it is and just be grateful THAT it is. This is called faith, and if I truly have it, I will never have to miss beauty ever.
