Staying Out of the Way

The lesson I must remember and forever teach myself is to stay out of the way. Working on trying not to control things that i am truly powerless over. One of the biggest question’s for me, is this God’s will or mine? The book tells us to look for selfish intentions, self seeking, dishonesty, and fear, but when I am not handing it over, I amĀ  controling. No matter how many lessons I’m taught about letting go, and giving it to a higher authority, I still make choices that have repercussions. I am a willful and stubborn man, that has to always watch out for the falling debris, of choices made on my defects of character. The good news though, is that I work on that edge of progress, thank God I only have to make those short steps to principles, that guide me to the norrow hallways of spiritual living, so I don’t bounce off the wide spaces of my thoughts. Thank you for the 12 step call, and guiding me.
