How do we learn to love? As a child do we instinctively know how to love or is it just we are born with desire.? We need immediately, as we grasp for our first breath. As we grow the desires grow, and they become more complex, we start to want more. We immediately have pleasure sensors that release natural chemicals that give us a sense of well being. We hear it said I instantly felt that sense of ease and comfort when I took that first drink. For us it is that instant romance with the synthetic dance. LOVE! The substance was my first true lover, when I kissed the lips of the first drink I felt the love I was searching for since I took my first breath, or so my mind thought. It took me years to understand the nature of my desire, the empty kiss of my destructive lover. It wasn’t until I began to romance the true essence of where love resides, it’s in the touch of the Spirit in our soul. Love begins with me learning to love others without expecting something in return. The lesson of the principles of love, service, and tolerance.
