If we look back in history, we can see that change, can be made through the power of “ONE.” Most movements started with the conviction of one person believing. We must never underestimate or devalue our contribution that is made in the spirit of service, even on the smallest of levels. We can have great impact on someone who needs help. A simple act of kindness or concern can be enormously healing to a suffering person. It tells us on the walls of our rooms, “that I am responsible.” I must remember that in my actions that I must carry the principles of the steps with me, because if someone comes in my path that they may be influenced by how I present myself to the world at large. We Must always note that a pebble can create a ripple that can become wave. We must not underestimate the value of love.
