There is no greater truth than learning how to love and be loved, it’s priceless. So many of us have a struggle when it comes to loving without expectations. If I say I love you, is there something attached to that, do I expect the “I love you” back? Are there motives behind the statement, is it honest, or just something to say. I say “I love you” almost always, the reason behind it, is because 3 years ago, I wasn’t sure I would have an opportunity to say it to anyone again. That feeling was frighting, thinking that I have missed the moment to say to those I care for, that they are in my heart. The essense of the 12th step is loving without conditions, and to show it in words and actions. So I truly have love in my heart for all of you, and I pray everyday that I learn to love, to be loved and to find the love in my heart. No greater love than the love of the Power of God’s love that he has shown me, than giving me the truth that you bring me.
