My life has been filled with miracles, I was told from my first day in recovery, to not leave before the miracle happens. It is hard to try to explain miracles to a newcomer, who is either beaten down to the point that you can’t see up, or to someone who is not ready, and is still in defiance or arrogance. Those who have witnessed the miracles of the steps and principles can see it in others and themselves. When we see a man or woman who has been driven to the edge bounce back and become whole once again, by the application of unity and service, realize how powerful and deep spiritual our program is. I know that I have personally experienced many miracles in me and around me. This is a gift from a Power Greater than all of us; it is the Power that from all of us together saying “keep coming back it works if you work it”. We see it, we know it, and we live it, one day at a time. Thank you for the 12 step call.
